OEM module format now available for all PPM fiber optic links

New to PPM's extensive RF-over-fiber ViaLite range are the OEM Transmitter and Receiver modules. These small, high-performance modules have been designed for manufacturers who wish to add a fiber optic interface to their existing RF product. They have generated much interest from suppliers of satellite up/down-converters, mobile radio equipment, cellular and many others.

The OEM modules are available for a wide range of operating frequencies from <2kHz to >3GHz including: L-band; 70/140MHz and GPS. PPM's RF over fiber products offer a very wide dynamic range, and allow the transmission of RF signals of any modulation format on optical fibre over distances from a few metres to >50km with very low loss and signal degradation. All of PPM's ViaLite modules require little or no previous knowledge of optical fibre for product selection, installation and use.
