ViaLite Extends Range to cover WIMAX Applications

PPM Ltd has launched a new ViaLite 4.2GHz fibre optic module as a new edition to its already extensive range. At 4.2GHz the new module is ideally suitable for Antenna Remoting for WIMAX applications.

Because of high data rates with WIMAX, traditional copper links are unable to cope over distances of more than 10's of metres. However fibre has a relatively limitless bandwidth and is a natural choice for this type of application.
