Configuration

The ViaLite product range is highly modular allowing the user to select a product configuration to match many different applications. Signal modules are available in Plug-in or OEM module options.

The Plug-in modules are compatible with PPM's 19" rack cases. Up to 8 modules can be accommodated in a 3U rack or up to 3 modules in a space saving 1U rack. Alternatively, single Plug-in modules may be used in conjunction with a ViaLite Converter Sleeve for standalone operation.

The PPM OEM module format allows customers to build an RF to fiber interface into their own equipment or system.

The ViaLite range has several outdoor enclosure options that house either OEM modules or full racks of equipment.

In situations where there are high levels of electrical interference, or where there is a very wide operating temperature range requirement PPM have a separate range of fibre optic links available, for more information click here.
