Serial Digital Fibre Optic Modem Serial Digital OEM Module

The ViaLite Serial Digital Fibre Optic Modem provides highly reliable, full duplex transmission of RS422, RS485, RS232 and TTL signals over two single mode optical fibres for distances of up to 20km.

The modem is suitable for use with the digital signaling of unbalanced ones and zeros and any duty cycle ratios. Data rate options are DC-115kbps, DC-500kbps and DC-10Mbps.

The ViaLite 100Mb/s Ethernet Optical Transceiver provides a high reliability solution for implementing an Ethernet link over optical fibre.

Alarm Monitoring

For monitoring and control of ViaLite rack mounted RF modules users have the option of either SNMP or an Alarm Concentrator Transceiver.

The SNMP module fits into the standard ViaLite rack and is capable of receiving alarms from all modules and PSU's from two racks. Using the front mounted Ethernet port users can then view the alarm status over their network or as a web page. For more information on this module click here.

The Alarm Concentrator takes up position 8 in a standard ViaLite rack is specifically designed to carry all the alarm data from modules in a remote rack back the centrally located rack.
